Early image, circa 1852.  Waist up view of man with beard, wearing dark suit. Image is clear with good contrast. Some light surface dirt on the image. Some oxidation occurring on mat and edge of plate.

Image comes housed in decorative mat and frame in half cloth case; minor wear to case.
