$495.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 1139-14

Waist-up view of a young fresh-faced Union cavalryman wearing a dark shell jacket with gilt buttons and light trousers. He wears his belt with shoulder support strap and rectangular Pattern 1851 plate with spread-winged eagle and gilt wreath. His saber is at his side. Tucked in his belt is a Colt revolver.

Clarity is excellent. Contrast is a bit on the dark side but passable.

Image comes with a bright decorative brass mat and stamped brass frame with a dark patina throughout.

The case is covered in stippled blue cloth with a flap and latch for closing. The material on the case shows some fading and light wear.  [ad] [ph:L]
