This is a three-quarter seated view of a girl and boy sitting on a bench with a dog between them. Girl is wearing a light colored dress and has her hair pulled back into a hairnet, which was fashionable at this time. Boy is wearing a dark colored jacket and light colored trousers.

Image is clear with good contrast. Some very light oxidation has occurred.

Image comes housed in a gutta percha frame, which is in excellent condition. Decorative brass mat surrounds the image.

This tintype was part of a unique collection of images that featured animals.    [sl] [ph:L]
