This is a tintype photo mounted in a fancy carte de visite mount. Soldier is in uniform wearing a single-breasted military coat with three-piece buttons. Image is clear but slightly dark. Mount remains in good condition and features a raised "picture frame" with stars around the image. "Patent Applied For" printed at bottom edge of mount. A Revenue stamp is pasted to the back. A note from Bill Turner states this came out of a Richmond, VA., Mosby related photo album.
