Stereo card shows one end of Libby Prison. Clearly visible is a sign attached to the end of the building that reads “LIBBY PRISON.” Also visible are some stacks of fence posts along one side and an armed guard and some civilians in front. There is also a small sentry box on the corner.
The image has good contrast and clarity. Paper and orange mount show only light surface dirt.
Reverse has “VIEWS OF RICHMOND & VICINITY, & MOUNTAIN SEENERY OF VIRGINIA & WEST VA.” Revere also lists all the different views in the series. [ad]
