Bringing the unattainable into people’s homes for generations the stereoviewer pictured here is in fine condition for any collector interested in Victorian Era entertainment.   In addition to allowing the general population access to foreign lands, this was one of the first devices to use binocular vision.  This enabled viewers to look through two eyepieces of photos that were taken at slightly different angles to see a 3D image.

This is an original mid-1800s stereoviewer in good condition.  Item measures 15 ½” tall, 9 ¾” wide and 9 ½” deep.  It is equipped with a working internal carousel that can hold 50 stereoviews. There is a double folding door with mirror.  Knobs to turn carousel have minor scratching. [mk] [ph:L]
