Bullet for a Dimick rifle. This style of bullet is found in numerous calibers and many variations in the cavities. These weapons were used by Birge’s Western Sharpshooters who eventually became the 66th Illinois Infantry. This specimen measures .408 x .924 and has a cone cavity. Good condition with a slick patina. [jet]
