This excavated plate has a brass face with smooth dark brown patina and just the slightest lead oxidation scattered. The detail on the eagle is good. The reverse has 99% of the lead fill. Both iron hooks remain.  No recovery location.

A very nice “dug” breast plate.  [jet]
