This “dug” button has a beautiful face. A central anchor is encircled by foliate and “RHODE ISLAND” above and ribbon with “HOPE” under. All on a lined field. 90% gilt remains with no dents.
This is a two-piece coat size button. “SCOVILL MFG CO / WATERBURY” backmark. No shank and a small hole where it was ripped out. Overall, very good and displayable condition; excellent face.
