$225.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 595-1800

This dug Pattern 1839 US belt plate is complete with the face, both arrow hooks and the tongue but all the lead has been melted out of the reverse.

The face shows some discoloration from ground action but there are no cracks. Edge does have a few small dents. Nicely lettered across the top of the plate in silver ink is “FREDERICKSBURG, VA.” Off to the side of the letter “S” is a small collectors label with the number “8.” This can easily be removed if desired.  [ad] ph:L]
