Confederate 12-pounder spherical case shot for smoothbore cannons. This shell has a brass Borman under plug used as a side loader plug. Has the typical Confederate brass fuse adapter that would have taken a paper time fuse. Brass fuse and side plug banged up. Iron surface is pitted as is typical for excavated relics.
