Face is in excellent condition with no major dings or dents or scratches. The plate has a black patina with just the letters “US” having been lightly cleaned.
Reverse is also in good shape with both “puppy paw” style hooks and tongue. Lead is 100% in tact with a white and gray speckled surface. Lead is stamped with a faint but readable “W. H. SMITH, BROOKLYN.” There is also a small modern tag that reads “BUC 2.” [ad] [ph:L]
