.52 CALIBER “PALMETTO” SHARPS BULLET FROM THE CONGAREE RIVER IN COLUMBIA, SC

$25.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 2022-576

This is a .52 caliber Sharps bullet. The bullet profile is actually the “new model” style but with the casting sprue intentionally left in place.  This cast bullet shows a black patina because of where these were recovered. All came from the Congaree River that runs through Columbia, SC where they were dumped. Given the name “Palmetto” Sharps by collectors due to their recovery in South Carolina.  [jet] [ph:L]
