Brass, enlistedman’s style cavalry hat insignia and number “8”. Crossed sabers in relic condition with dark, dirt-covered patina. One end of scabbard is broken but present. An unsuccessful attempt to glue the pieces has left small traces of dry glue. No hooks. Displays very well. Found with brass number “8” in similar condition with small cracks.
