This is an excavated Pattern 1854 Austrian combination musket tool. It is an iron tool that includes a nipple wrench, screw driver, and a pick. The iron piece is cleaned and coated.

This piece comes from an old collector and relic hunter (now deceased) who used to dig regularly on private property at Gettysburg and Antietam. Specifically, this item was recovered on the Roulette Farm at Antietam.   [jet] [ph:L]
