Excavated spur recovered at Chancellorsville, Virginia. Delicate, civilian-style brass spur with nice green-brown patina.

Straight neck with only a rust stain remaining where the rowel once was. Small holes at the ends of the arms where the spur was nailed or screwed into the heel. A professional period repair to one of the arms.  [jet] [ph:L]
