Blue wool Infantryman’s epaulettes with wool tassels for an enlisted man and musicians. Both are in excellent condition though the color of the wool has faded some.
The bodies are covered in light blue cloth with a double row of twisted wool outlining each clamshell. Suspended from each clamshell are wool tassels with joined ends and a reinforced lining that holds all the tassels tightly together.
The underside of each epaulette is lined with a light blue polished cotton. Each has the brass wire attachment hook under one edge.
Despite the slightly faded cloth these are still in excellent condition. [AD]
