Round glass flask in the shape of Civil War canteen measures approximately 4 ½” in diameter. Glass is hand blown and exhibits numerous air bubbles. Back side features embossed “U.S.” filled with red paint. Front has colorful graphic with G.A.R. membership medal, draped flags, and “1899 / 33RD NATIONAL ENCAMPMENT / PHILA. PA.”
There is a metal screw-on top and a metal link chain. The wire chain mount on the left side has worn its way through the glass over the years creating a small hole.
