Souvenir bronze watch fob with a Confederate battle flag at center, with RICHMOND above and VIRIGINIA below. “UNITED CONFEDERATE VETERANS REUNION / JUNE 21-24” in a band around the edge with “1932” in a round cartouche at bottom center and a wing-like wreath along the bottom and sides supporting the whole. Strap and buckle are intact. Back bears a large “W” or “M” scratched in it with one angle having a crossbar making it look like an “A.” Certainly an owner’s mark. Nice medium tone to the bronze with some fading or rubs to the red and blue portions of the flag. This was the UCV 42nd Annual Reunion, which had problems with a proposed peace memorial to be sited at Appomattox, leading to objections to a proposed joint Blue-Gray reunion the next year, etc. [sr] [ph:m]
