Used by the US Army throughout World War One the can is made of ribbed tin and meas. approx. 6.50 inches long by 2.50 inches wide by 2.50 inches tall. Each end of the can has a screw-off cap. The interior is divided into two sections one for coffee, and one for sugar. One of the screw lids has a small compartment for holding salt. This compartment has a circular lid that can be pried open.
Tin shows light scattered oxidation but is otherwise good. [ad] [ph:L]
