Offered here is a single, excavated U.S. Model 1859 brass spur. This style has no groove inside nor any other markings or decoration. Rowel is mostly gone. Nice “dug” patina.

Recovered from a Confederate site in Brazoria County, Texas (south of Houston and west of Galveston).  [jet][PH:L]
