A pre-Civil War, presentation grade Marine Mamaluke with ivory grip. It has the sheet brass scabbard with raised center line and squared off drag favored by Widmann. The etched blade has a single fuller, branching into the typical Widmann double fuller 12 inches above the tip. This non maker marked blade is undoubtedly an unmarked Widmann The blade etching, also in Widmann style has a trident, fowled anchor and foliate on each side.
