Shell is unfired and in good condition. The surface of the body is mostly smooth with some light to moderate pitting at bottom. There is a light coat of rust over the entire surface of the shell.
Ratcheted copper disk sabot on base is in good condition with a large 4-sided nut at bottom center. Nose has copper paper time fuse adapter.
This round was meant for use in the 4.2 inch US or CS Parrott Rifle.
