This bolt is in very nice unfired condition. The surface of the bolt is very smooth with only very light pitting throughout. The lead band sabot is smooth with no signs of having been fired. The base of this round is flat unlike other Hotchkiss rounds which have a somewhat rounded base. A very nice clean bolt. [AD]
