This pack of 30-second artillery fuses originates from the Frankford Arsenal and was produced in 1863. These 30-second fuses are harder to find than the short-burning fuses. The pack is constructed of a drilled wood block covered with a paper label. This paper covering is well worn and has portions of the top torn open. Cloth tear strips remain. All 5 fuses remain undisturbed inside. [jet]
