British manufactured Britten bolt in excellent unfired condition. These were for the Blakely rifled cannons.
A ring around the nose probably from the lathing process of manufacture is visible. Lead sabot is intact and in perfect condition. Iron body is smooth and clean. These rare shells were imported from Britain for use by the Confederates. [jet]
