This famed unit and its Colonel Robert Shaw were featured in the 1989 movie “Glory”, which showcased the 54th’s courageous charge against the rebel redoubt at Fort Wagner, SC. in July 1863. Fine collectible for 54th Massachusetts and African American history aficionados.
