This book contains the history of the different New Hampshire regiments, as well as biographical sketches of many of the prominent soldiers. It contains several illustrations and portraits, which feature the Governors of NH during the Civil War, Generals from NH and battle scenes.

Major Otis F.R. Waite was an author and printer and is also the author of “Vermont in the Great Rebellion” and “Claremont War History”. He was born on March 3, 1818 in Vermont and died on October 12, 1895 in New Hampshire.

This volume measures approx. 9” x 6” x 2”. And has a bright blue cloth cover with gold embossed lettering on the spine and a gold embossed NH state seal on the front cover. Text contains 608 pages. Corners are slightly bent and edges are slightly distressed but overall this volume is in great condition. Pages have slightly yellowed with age but none are loose and binding is tight.
