Green glazed cloth, with gilt cover & spine illustration and lettering. Exhibits light wear at the extremities, with slight fading of gilt. Hinges solid, but weakened some. Else VG. Considered by many to be the finest memoirs by any of the principal figures of the American Civil War. An attractive addition to any Civil War library.  [jp]
