Volume meas. 7.75 x 10.25 inches and runs 414 pages with index. Back of the book has several fold out maps. Text has several black and white photographs.

Interior is clean with some light discoloration to page edges from age. Endpapers are map of Chattanooga.

Hardcover bound in white with color photo of saddle sword and carbine on cover. Dust jacket has slight wear and surface dirt. Upper left corner of jacket has a small taped tear.

The 15th saw action at Antietam, Nashville, Stones River, Mossey Creek and Lynchburg.   [ad]
