Cresswell Jr/ 1858. 117 pp., w/errata & appendices. In brown blind-stamped buckram, 5.75 x 8.5”, w/gilt cover & spine lettering. Exhibits wear at the extremities & chipping at the head of the spine. Slight interior water staining. Else VG, w/tight spine and page signatures.
John Cresswell served as a Pennsylvania State Senator from 1853 through 1859, and was affiliated with Pennsylvania’s influential Senator Simon Cameron. General B.F. Bell was presumably a state militia officer. Accompanied by documentation, invites further research. Solid Pennsylvania collectible. [jp]
