Black hard covered manuals with plain covers. In gold on the spine is “U.S. INFANTRY & RIFLE TACTICS” (VOL. I and VOL. II respectively).
The volumes each run approximately 230-250. The first volume covers the School of the Soldier and the School of the Company. The first page appears to have once had an ID that has since been cut out. Volume II covers the School of the Battalion. There are numerous illustrations and fold-out plates. Pages and tip-outs show scattered light wear and occasional staining. Bindings show wear and cracks at the folds. Still a nice set. [jet]
