CIVIL WAR ERA CATHEDRAL BOTTLE, C. 1845-58

$70.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 14-1809

Four sided, aqua colored cathedral style bottle measures 8 ½” high and 2” at the base. Each side has a beautifully embossed design. This is one of the most typical bottles found in civil war trash pits. They were often used for hot or pickled condiments and sauces. They were certainly used over and over again around the camp and home. Bottle is in very good condition with no cracks or chips.  Bubbles in the glass are naturally present from the blowing process of how bottle was made. [sm]
