Dark amber colored bottle has applied top and pontil mark. Front shows an embossed image of a safe, which was Warner’s trademarked symbol. Wording reads, “WARNER’S SAFE KIDNEY & LIVER CURE / ROCHESTER, N.Y.”

Bottle measures 9 ½” tall by 3 ½” wide. No cracks or chips. Bubbles and irregularities are present in the glass due to the hand blown process.

Hulbert Harrington Warner (1842–1923) was a Rochester, New York businessman and philanthropist. His legacy is his patent medicine empire that produced remedies sold around the world as well as the bottles in which those remedies were contained. The bottles are prized by collectors. [sl]
