Circa 1840's, three piece, high convex, coat size button. Face depicts patriotic symbolism of eagle grasping arrows for war and olive branch for peace. This die pattern features eagle with crooked neck facing right surrounded by 24 stars, stripes only in graceful shield with point at the top and edges, curved side, and pointed bottom, three arrows in left talon. BM: "R & W. ROBINSON / (dot) (star) (dot) (star) (dot) MAKERS (dot) (star) (dot) (star) (dot) / ATTLEBOROUGH / (star) MASS. (star)" dm, solid ring separating inner and outer inscription.
