Round brass token, 1” in diameter, featuring small “Gem” tintype images of Abraham Lincoln and Hannibal Hamlin on each side. Pierced with small hole for string attachment. Bronze stampings on each side: “Abraham Lincoln / 1860” & [reverse] “Hannibal Hamlin / 1860”. Lincoln & Hamlin inscriptions present also on gem-photos. It exhibits medium coppery patina, gem images display scratches, while remaining clear and identifiable. Fine piece for Lincoln buffs and presidential campaign collectors.
