This bill is number T65 in Criswell’s “CONFEDERATE AND SOUTHERN STATES CURRENCY.” Item is in very good condition. Face is black with reddish overprint. Front center artwork is a drawing of Lucy Pickens in profile flanked by two Confederate soldiers and a portrait of George Randolph. The bill is marked “SERIES I” and is numbered 97328.  Intricate blue back has a large “HUNDRED” at the center, with a medallion in each corner with the number “100.” Printed by Keating & Ball of Columbia, South Carolina. Dated February 17, 1864. Overall very good condition; light soiling to reverse.

Note has red cancellation stamp on right corner on reverse side.
