Double numbered “117062”, dated “Dec 27, 1862” (in ink) this beige and red tinged bill exhibits three light vertical folk-marks. Blank reverse display three endorsements: (1) “Issued By John Boston Deposit/ Mar 5 1863/ Savannah, (2) “Interest Paid to/ 15 January 1864/ Augusta, (3) Interest Paid to/ 1st January 1865,/ at Savannah. The middle “Augusta” endorsement bleeds lightly through on the obverse. Otherwise VG plus and attractive, w/registering three Georgia-based interest paymentS. [JP]
