Bill is in nice condition. Engravings are done in black with no overprinting. Central design is State Capitol building in Richmond, Virginia. Lower right corner is portrait of Secretary Memminger. Back is fully decorated in blue ink with lace circles with “5” in them and large “V” at center. 1st Series, letter C. Serial number 96713. Dated April 6th, 1863. Stamped in red vertically is “April, 1863.”[ld]
