An original Civil War paper money artifact referred to as a $50.00 Confederate Treasury Note. Criswell listed as a ‘Type 66" note showing bust of Jefferson Davis. Double-side printed paper bill is not canceled. Circular medallion at upper right edge and at upper left edge of bill. Paper condition good with pink colored face and a blue hued backside. Few edge tears and fraying. Bill dated February 1864 and numbered 41700. A circulated bill with fold creases and some light surface grime.
