An original Civil War paper money artifact referred to as a $5.00 Confederate Treasury Note. Criswell-listed as a ‘Type 60" note showing the state capitol at Richmond. Double-side printed paper bill is not canceled. Circular medallion and bust image at the right edge and a band with "FIVE" at the left edge of bill. Paper condition very good with pink colored face and a blue hued backside. Bill dated February 1864 and numbered 18549. A fine, clean uncirculated bill.
