An original Civil War paper money artifact referred to as a $10.00 Confederate Treasury Note. Criswell-listed as a ‘Type 68" note with mounted soldiers horses pulling a caisson and cannon. Double-side printed paper bill is not canceled. Circular medallion and bust image at the right edge and a band with "TEN" at the left edge of bill. The paper condition is fair condition with pink colored face and a blue hued backside. Has few tears and some edge fraying. Bill dated February 1864 and numbered 45781. Circulated bill with fold creases and surface grime.
