An original Civil War paper money artifact referred to as a $5.00 Confederate Treasury Note. Criswell-listed as a ‘Type 60" note showing the state capitol at Richmond. Double-side printed paper bill is not canceled. Circular medallion and bust image at the right edge and a band with "FIVE" at the left edge of bill. The paper condition is good condition with pink colored face and a blue hued backside. Bill dated February 1864 and numbered 90629. A circulated bill with fold creases and light surface grime.
