Mid war bond issued from the Confederate Capital at Richmond, Virginia. The bond is dated February 20, 1863 and is number 37219. The center design is a bust view of Jefferson Davis and a view of the city of Richmond. The printer of this bond is Evans & Cogswell, Columbia, S.C. and Lithography by G. Wojciechowski. At the bottom are 7 coupons. The first was redeemable July 1, 1865 and the last on July 1, 1868. Bond is in good condition and all ink inscriptions are readable. There is a number written in pencil at middle top in the border. Left top edge shows signs of light wrinkles. Back has blue stamp that reads “Het Stempel zigtbaar bevonden. Amsterdam 24 October 1865. Het Algemeen Beurs-Comite, Vooe Publieke Fondsen.”
