Center of the bill depicts the state capitol building in Nashville, Tennessee. Lower right has portrait of Vice-President Stephens. Face also has a reddish network background overprint. Back has “TWENTY” at center with a medallion in each corner with the numeral “20.” Back is decorated in an intricate pattern in blue ink. Bill is number 94237. Dated 1864. CS red Treasury stamp visible at lower left. The condition of the bill is very good; some light spots of soiling on reverse. Printed by Keating & Ball, Columbia, S.C.
