These pages are from an official government atlas with fifteen maps of the operations of the 16th and 17th Army Corps in Lovejoy’s Station, Atlanta, Resaca, Jonesborough in Georgia, Bethel, Virginia, and Blakely, Alabama. The Baylor University Libraries Digital Collection description reads:

Blair -- Topographical Sketch of the Battle of Bethel, Va. -- Sketch of the Siege of Blakely, Ala. -- Position of the 17th Army Corps before Atlanta, Ga. -- Position left wing, 16th A.C. near Owen's Mill, Ga. -- Position left wing, 16th Army Corps, Resaca, Ga. -- Position Left Wing, 16th Army Corps at Lovejoy Station, Ga. -- Position near Jonesborough, Ga. -- Created by Andrews, Coffman, Levi”.

The map is labeled Plate LXI, from the Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies from 1861 to 1865, originally published in 1891. The Atlas to Accompany the Official Records of the Union and Confederate Armies (also referred to as the War of the Rebellion Atlas) was published as a companion piece to the Official Records of the American Civil War. It contains maps and other images derived from materials generated by both Union and Confederate military personnel during the American Civil War.

The map measures 29.25” long by 18.5” wide. In good condition.
