A limited edition cold cast bronze sculpture by Ron Tunison dating to 2000. The piece is numbered 117 of 350. It is on a hardwood base with a gold title plate. It stands approximately 15 inches tall and the base measures 10 inches long and 8 inches wide. Weighs 8 lbs. 13 oz. Overall excellent condition; the wooden base shows very, very minor wear.
Tunison is known for the highly detailed bronzes he creates with four monuments on the Gettysburg, PA battlefield, one on the Antietam, MD battlefield and one at the entrance to the Museum of the Civil War Soldier, near Petersburg, VA to his credit. [sm]
