Printed in black and white, framed in plastic sheath w/black card backing, the broadside measures 11.5 x 14”. Exhibits light wrinkling w/ patches of foxing along the lower margin, along w/small torn piece that has been perfectly repaired. Else VG. Giving the broadside added significance is the fact “Israel Russell” was among the Harper’s Ferry residents taken as hostages by John Brown during his famous raid of October 16, 1859. Invites further research. Solid Harper’s Ferry collectible.
