August 1863 dated discharge is a state issued discharge for service in Co. G, 32nd Regiment of Pennsylvania Militia (90 days service). Nice state seal on left edge; folds, otherwise fine.

Samuel Bailey is listed as being born in Chester County, PA, and was 19 years of age,  height 5’7” and occupation as printer.

The second discharge is for service in the 15th Pennsylvania Cavalry, Co. A from March 18, 1864 to July 18, 1865. Standard Federal form with patriotic eagle at top.  [ss]
