Interior includes illustrations of the recent Battle of Fredericksburg: “Attack on the Rebel Works at Fredericksburg by the Centre Grand Division of the Army of the Potomac, On December 13, 1862.”—“Fredericksburg On the Night of 11th December 13, 1862.”—“Our Soldiers in the Streets of Fredericksburg.”—“Major-General Franklin’s Grand Division Crossing The Rappahannock On 12 December, 1862”. Also a full page depiction of the “Court-Martial On Major-General Fitz-John Porter, Held December, 1862, At Washington, D.C.”
Front and rear cover pages detached, with the latter vertically torn in two, but intact. Exhibits light soiling, and mounting dots along left margin. Else good plus, and smooth, with gobs of great illustrations. In protective sleeve, with white card backing.
